In April of 2014, after three years of construction by volunteer mission teams, LAMP HOUSE COFFEE opened its doors. Sissy and Eric Rutherford manage the shop which features specialty coffees, frappes, flavored lattes; baked goods, snack foods, sandwiches and homemade soups. The shop is nestled in the the historic town of Lynch, KY and sits (literally) over Looney Creek, across from the historic Portal 31 exhibition mine. When visiting, please be sure to stop in Lamp House Coffee and say ‘hello’.
God is using this quaint, little shop as a friendly meeting place; and affords us an opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with thousands of people each year, while also presenting a new business – and job opportunities – for the people of Lynch and the surrounding communities.
